Campaign Terms & Conditions

Campaign Period & Eligibility

1. BRAND’S® ‘STAY SHARP. STAY AHEAD.’ Campaign (“Campaign”) is organized by Suntory Beverage & Food Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (the “Organizer”). The Campaign will start from 1st October 2024 to 30th November 2024 ("Campaign Period").

2. This Campaign is open to all citizens and permanent residents of Malaysia ("Participants") who are eighteen (18) years of age or older with a valid MyKad, except for employees of the Organizer, advertising agents, public relations agents and promotional providers of the Organizer, including their immediate family members (spouse, children, parents, siblings, and their spouses).

3. The Organizer reserves the right to change the Terms & Conditions of the Campaign and/or the Campaign Period at any time.

4. Participants are eligible to participate in this Campaign with every purchase of BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken products worth RM10 and above from any store, supermarket, pharmacy and hypermarket during this Campaign Period ("Proof of Purchase''). The original (printed) receipt indicating the date of purchase from 1st October 2024 to 30th November 2024 must be kept by the Participant for verification purposes (if necessary) and as Proof of Purchase.

5. Participants can enter the Campaign through the following steps:

  1. Participants must purchase BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken products worth RM10 and above from any store, supermarket, pharmacy and hypermarket during this Campaign Period.
  2. Scan the QR code printed in the Campaign advertisement linking to the submission page or by typing the following URL https://becmentalchallenge.myideascontest.com/. Register your personal info. There will be 10 free play credits upon registration.
  3. Participants will need to send / upload a clear and full image of the purchase receipt. A copy of your submission will be sent to your email address for reference. The receipt will then be verified within three (3) working days (Monday – Friday) and a confirmation email will be sent to you once the purchase receipt has been verified and the game play credits have been updated to your registered account.
    • Every purchase BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken products worth RM10 will be given 2 game play credits, for example: RM10 = 2 credits. RM20 = 4 credits, RM45 = 8 credits. Any unutilized game play credits will be forfeited after the Campaign Period, no refunds in any form will be entertained. Game credits are not transferable.
    • For purchase via online stores, the participant must send a screenshot with the order details and / or an email invoice, with successful transaction made (status as “Delivered”) as a valid proof of purchase.
    • For purchases from Watsons store or Watsons online, send a WhatsApp to 016 695 7159 to join. Follow the message / instruction to join. Upload receipt and fill up required details for contest submission process.

6. Incomplete entries, late, tampered receipt or without a valid Proof of Purchase will not be accepted. All entries must be submitted to the Organizer before or by 30th November 2024.

7. Participants may submit more than one (1) entry but each entry must be accompanied by a new receipt. One receipt can be used only One (1) time. Submission of entire entry will be rejected if the same receipt is used and/or submitted more than One (1) time or shared to another participant. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any submission.

Contest Prizes & Gift with Purchase (GWP) – redemption item

  1. Prizes & Gift with Purchase (GWP):
    1. Exclusive Prize: A chance to win an iPad (64 GB, Wifi) worth RM1,799 each x 4 winners with a minimum purchase worth RM88 of BRAND’S Essence of Chicken at Watsons store or Watsons online from 1st August to 30th November 2024.
      1. At the end of the Campaign Period, a total of 4 Participants (who made purchases from Watsons store or Watsons online) will be selected via a computerized randomizer process (the “Shortlisted Participants”). The Shortlisted Participants will need to answer one question accurately to win the Contest Prize.
    2. GWP: A chance to win an exclusive lunch box worth RM75 each x 200 winners with a minimum purchase worth RM80 of BRAND’S Essence of Chicken at Guardian or Guardian online from 1st August to 30th November 2024.
      1. Limited to first 200 valid entries (while stocks last).
      2. Eligible Participants will be asked on their delivery address after the end of the Campaign Period. Delivery will take 4 – 6 weeks to process (after the Campaign Period).
    3. Overall Contest Prize (Purchases from All Outlets): A total prize pool of RM100,000 will be awarded to the Top 100 participants in the Mental Game Challenge who achieve the fastest time (with all correct answers) during the Campaign Period.

Note: All images of gift pictures displayed in any advertisements, advertising promotions and other materials related to this campaign are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the real gift.

Prizes Terms & Conditions

  1. Each Participant with valid MyKad will have a chance can only win up to one (1) contest prize per category (exclusive prize @ Watson, GWP prize @ Guardian and Mental Game Challenge prize).
  2. The Shortlisted Participants will need to answer one question accurately to win the Contest Prize.
  3. Question: BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken gives you energy. YES / NO
  4. The Shortlisted Participants will be contacted within 4 to 6 weeks after the end of the Campaign Period during office hours (Monday – Friday between 9.00 am – 5.00pm).

12. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the date of the notification to the winners. Any unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Any expenses at the time of the prize redemption will be the responsibility of the winners.

13. If the Organizer is unable to contact the winner after 3 attempts within 3 days of the notification date, the Organizer reserves the right to select the next eligible participant as the campaign winner.

14. If there is a situation where the winner claims that he / she did not receive any notification, the notification posted on the Organizer’s social media page or on the contest page be deemed adequate and sufficient as notification to the winner.

15. All Participants must comply with the Terms & Conditions issued by the Organizer to be eligible for any prize.

16. All prizes (where applicable) are given "as is" and cannot be exchanged for credit, cash, other goods or voucher, in part or in whole.

17. Any expenses for participation in this Campaign and/or redemption of prizes (if required) is the responsibility of the Participant.

18. Notwithstanding any of the above, upon receipt of an entry, as the case may be, the Organiser shall reserve the right to request for further evidence in the processing of the entry including the original Proof of Purchase (hardcopy) and the identification documents for verification prior to the delivery of the prizes. Failure to produce any of the foregoing documents within the stipulated time frame will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prizes.

Rights of the Organizer

19. By participating in this Campaign, Participants agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. The decision of the Organizer is final. Any letters, enquiries, appeal or protest will not be entertained. Participants hereby agree that no action will be taken against the Organizer.

20. By participating in this Campaign, Participants give permission to the Organizer and/or any third-party agents elected by Organizer ("Agency") to process the Participants' personal data, which is provided through the Campaign’s entries for redemption purposes.

21. Each Participant agrees to the collection, use, processing and disclosure of personal information, and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. Each Participant, who has indicated in their entry that he/she agrees to being contacted by the Organizer and/or the Agency for promotional, marketing and/or publicity purposes, agrees that the Organizer may, for a reasonable period of time, unless advised otherwise, use such information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or making telephone calls to Participants.

22. Values of prizes are accurate at the time of printing. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any of the prizes with that of similar value at any time at their absolute discretion without prior notice.

23. Prize(s) which are lost or damaged during the fulfillment process are not replaceable and the Organizer does not have any obligations to replace or fulfill these prizes.

24. The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the submission process, or the operation of the Campaign whether by fraud, cheating or deception, and the Organizer reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to the Campaign.

25. The Organizer will not assume responsibility or liability for any Prize / product / voucher / e-voucher and expressly excludes and rejects any statement, warranty or endorsement, implied or written, written or oral, regarding the Prizes / product / voucher / e-voucher offered under this Campaign, including but not limited to guarantees of quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or use, health and safety.

26. Participants will assume full liability in case of any injury, loss, claim, or accident [including loss of life] resulting from participation in the Campaign and/or use of their prizes.

27. If this Campaign is interrupted in any way or cannot be conducted as reasonably expected for reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer, then the Organizer reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to change the terms and conditions of this Campaign, postpone, terminate or cancel the Campaign, if required, without prior notice.

28. The Organizer excludes its responsibilities and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes or modification to the Prizes due to any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control such as governmental interference, civil commotion, riot, war, strikes, act of terrorism (including but not limited to any act of violence, hostility, national emergency, occurrence of any epidemic/pandemic outbreaks) and for any act or default by any third-party suppliers or vendors.

29. Each Participant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless each of the Organizer, its holding, subsidiary or related companies as defined in the Companies Act 2016, directors, officers, employees, agents, sponsors and/or representatives against any and all losses, rights, claims, actions and damages (including special, indirect and consequential damages) arising from or incurred as a result of the Participant’s participation in the Campaign, acceptance of any Prize, and/or the use of the Participant’s entry and/or likeness in connection with the Campaign or violation of the Terms and Conditions.

Dear Participants,

Please note the Organizer requires your personal information in order to process your participation in the Campaign, without which we will not be able to process your entry.

Participant agrees that the personal data given is obligatory and all incomplete entries will render the participation void.

The personal data collected from Participants will be used for this Campaign to process entries in the Campaign and the redemption of prizes.

Participants, who have indicated in their entry that he/she agrees to being contacted by the Organizer and/or the Agency for promotional, marketing and/or publicity purposes, agree that the Organizer may, for a reasonable period of time, unless advised otherwise, use such information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or making telephone calls to Participants.

Participants agree that:

(a) Individual's personal data will be disclosed to an elected Agency for processing; and

(b) Individual’s personal data will be validated upon confirming the winners and if there are changes to the personal data, the Individual is required to update the Organizer.

To the extent that the applicable law allows, you have the right to request for access to, request for a copy of, request to update or correct, your personal information held by us.

Peserta bersetuju bahawa data peribadi yang diberikan adalah wajib dan semua penyertaan yang tidak lengkap akan menyebabkan penyertaan tidak sah.

(b) Data peribadi individu akan disahkan selepas mengesahkan pemenang dan jika terdapat perubahan pada data peribadi, Individu tersebut dikehendaki mengemas kini Penganjur.

Setakat yang dibenarkan oleh undang-undang yang terpakai, anda mempunyai hak untuk meminta akses kepada, meminta salinan, meminta untuk mengemas kini atau membetulkan maklumat peribadi anda yang disimpan.
